Intro

 My name is Geanine my hope for this blog is to share my love of soap making and bath & body products. My start in making my own bath & body products was born out of frustration in trying to help my daughter.

 My daughter suffered from eczema from the time she was 3 months old.

 Doctor saw us after doctor, and she was on all kinds of steroids. I can tell you I used anything and everything new or otherwise that came out. Once we covered her in Vaseline and wrapped her in plastic wrap, it did not work. Well meaning family and friends recommended all kind of different remedy. Nothing she used worked for any amount of time and she was suffering.

Growing up my grandmother, believed and taught that when we were created that we were given all the ingredients we needed to heal our own bodies. Calling on her old teaching, I figured I could do better for my daughter. I begin doing research, and came up with a balm formula that contained ingredients that were known to help heal the skin.

I called it Luv Your Skin balm and my daughter began to use it with amazing results.

 My daughter has been using the Luv Your Skin Balm for several years, any outbreaks she gets now clear up quickly, and she no longer use steroids.

 One of my focuses was to create products that did not contain skin-clogging, petroleum-derived oils like mineral oil or harsh chemicals. I use as  natural ingredients as possible. I always try to make sure the ingredients come from their country of origin.
